The Choir School of Macon ended its 2025-2026 academic year last night with a showcase and awards ceremony. The singers of the Choristers and St. Cecilia Choir demonstrated the repertoire they study during the past year and received certificates for their completion of another year of the Royal School of Church Music curriculum. Those who were ready to be promoted received their surplices marking them as members of the Choristers. Congratulations to all our singers, especially our newest Choristers! The Choir School of Macon is led by Jonathan Poe, Director of Music and Liturgy, and Lacey Chaney, Associate for Children’s Music.
