Last Sunday evening, the Christ Church Choir presented their first Choral Evensong of the program year. Evensong is a beloved part of the Anglican tradition of music and worship which combines choral music with a service of Evening Prayer. Sunday’s Evensong included a Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by George Dyson and the hymn “The day thou gavest, Lord, has ended.”
The next Evensong, on Sunday, November 1 beginning at 6:30 pm, will be a solemn service of remembrance for all the Faithful Departed. We hope you will join us then.
