Christ Church began our 2024-2025 program year and our Bicentennial celebration last Sunday with a Welcome Home Brunch in the Great Hall. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and reuniting after summer travels. The hall was packed as members of all ages enjoyed breakfast casserole, frozen fruit salad, and coffee cake.

In the back, there were Bicentennial t-shirts for sale, information about ministries and outreach opportunities, and a chance to pre-order the reprinting of the 1992 parish cookbook With our Blessings.

This is just the beginning of a busy calendar of events that runs through next May including the parish Picnic in October, a cocktail party in January, the Bicentennial service in February, and an end-of-the-year gala in May. Join us next Sunday at 9:15 for a presentation by local historian Andy Lawson about the history of Macon.
