This is our parish family and it nurtures us . . .

Worship is central to the spiritual life of Christ Church parishioners. Our Nave provides a beautiful worship space in which we celebrate, offer prayers, and live out our faith within a community of believers. This parish has a rich liturgical tradition and each of our worship services has it own characteristics.

Sunday Worship Services

On Sundays we offer three services with the celebration of the Holy Eucharistic as the focal point of each.

8:00 a.m. — Holy Eucharist Rite II in the Nave (Spoken)

9:00 a.m. — Holy Eucharist Rite II in Jones’ Chapel. This service offers a child-friendly sermon geared for the younger congregants. The children are trained and participate as Crucifer and Acolytes. They are also encouraged to partake in communion with their parents.

11:00 a.m. — Choral Eucharist Rite II in the Nave. The procession of choir, acolytes, vergers, clergy and other lay leaders is led by the organ and sets the tone for this Eucharistic Celebration.

** The Summer Schedule takes effect from June 7th through Labor Day Weekend.  Each Sunday in the Nave, there is a 8:00 a.m. and a 10:30 a.m. service. A Communion and Healing Service is offered on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. in the Nave.

Midweek Worship Services

During the week, we offer a Communion and Healing service on Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. in the Nave. As a downtown church, we are able to offer this service as an outreach to our community as well as to our own flock. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and meet afterward in the Cloister Room for food and fellowship.
