On Sundays the Youth Meet at Christ Church in the Youth Room.  EYC does not hold regular meetings during the Summer Schedule, but plans special events for the youth throughout the summer months.

Christ Church has a strong youth program, which has grown both in numbers and quality over the last year.  The Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) meets together on a weekly basis and attends several overnight events throughout the year. 

EYC has very strong attendance and leadership among the group is excellent.   The program is blessed to have two Youth Coordinators, several adult volunteers, and EYC advisors to help supervise programs on Wednesday and Sunday  evenings.   EYC programs range from fun fellowship events like Video Scavenger Hunts to more serious topics such as teen drinking and sexuality.   The goal of EYC is to encourage spiritual growth through fellowship with one another and to support one another on our journey with Christ.

As part of the EYC program, we have several retreats and trips throughout the year to aid in the community-building process. Our youth are very involved at Kanuga Conference Centers and attending Camp Mikell.  In addition to diocesan and national church events,  our senior high group participates in mission trips to Southern Appalachia, pilgrimages to Canterbury and New York, and an annual skiing trip.
